ALPINE LUDDITES

join the waiting list

I am taking a lesson from my friends at Limmer boots. They have a 3 year wait list, going back decades. If you are interested in ordering an Alpine series pack,a  custom one off pack, expedition duffles or a reproduction of a bag/pack there is a $100 non refundable fee, $50 for custom bike bags. This covers my time on the phone/ designing your pack. If you decide to move forward and get on the list this $100/$50 is applied to your order. When I get to your place in line I send an email to revisit your order, make any changes, review the fitting info ect. After we finalize your project I then send an invoice for the balance. If I don't hear from you in 30 days, your project goes back on the waiting list until I hear from you again. After the invoice is paid, your pack is 4-6 weeks from being built and in your hands.

You can also schedule a shop visit to get fitted and sort your pack at any time.

The current base price will be kept up on the website, but the $100 doesn't lock in the final price. It may change between when you get on the list and I get to it. I have no idea what Tariffs will do to material costs.

This new policy does not apply to batch-built, non-custom, in-stock items such as ice screw bags, small classic packs (Face Nord, Pinnacle, Hot Ice etc.), in-stock bike bags, HAB Panniers, any bag under $100. The $100/$50 cost at checkout is the clear indicator of what the new system applies too. It also does not apply to classes.
